Compatibility & Network
What Bark Wireless Is
Bark Wireless is Bark's own cell service, sold only to existing Bark subscribers. Instead of buying a Bark Phone, you keep the iPhones and Androids your family already has and move their lines to Bark. Every plan includes unlimited talk and text, and you choose 4GB, 8GB or unlimited data. Plans start at $15/month.
Setup and Switching
Activation is by eSIM, so there's no SIM card to wait for. You start the Bark Wireless plan first, then transfer your existing number for free, which avoids any gap in service. If you'd rather not move a number, you can take a new one. There are no activation fees and no contracts.
How It Fits With the Bark App
Your wireless lines and Bark parental controls live in one account with one bill. The Bark App still does the monitoring, screen time and location work on each phone; Bark Wireless replaces the carrier bill. If you want controls built into the operating system, so they can't be removed, that's what the Bark Phone is for.
Verdict
If you already pay for Bark and your kids have unlocked, eSIM-capable phones, Bark Wireless is an easy way to cut the carrier bill and keep everything in one place. Check the coverage map for your area before you transfer numbers.
